Thank you for looking at Wildflower to begin your baby massage journey. Please find below some additional information which you may find helpful before booking one of our courses.

What is baby massage?
Baby massage is a series of soothing, gentle strokes originating from Indian and Swedish massage and principles of yoga. It is a way of strengthening bonding between yourself and baby through nurturing touch.

What do I need to bring with me?
We would recommend wearing comfortable clothing as we will be based on the floor.
You may also like to bring a towel or blanket from home which will have the familiar smell for baby.

What if my baby cries/falls asleep?
Our classes are totally baby led and there may be many reasons why your baby cries during a session. You are the person who knows your baby best and whether to continue with the massage or if they need something else. If your baby does not want massage at any point during the session, you are more than welcome to watch, contribute to discussion or questions and join in again when they are ready or on another day. You may find a more suitable time for massage at home for you and your baby.

What if I miss a session?
Each week we learn a new body part and repeat the previous week, building up to a full body massage on the last week. If you feel you have any questions or would like any of the strokes repeating please speak with your instructor who will be more than happy to help.

Where are the sessions located?
Sessions are held at Bookbugs and Dragon Tales, Norwich NR1 3LA.
Parking is located nearby in John Lewis, the Woolpack Inn or Castle Quarter car parks.
